“And as the Holy Spirit, when He kissed Her in the murmur of his love, in the caress of his breeze, in the embrace of his power and in the fruitfulness of his Kiss, made Her love of his infinite love, in participation in his charity in donation of Spouse, so the Word, when He called Her: Mother! made Her so much Word, so much! that the Virgin, as an expression of the reality that She was and lived by the power of the grace that had been poured over Her, could call God: my Son! The eternal Father giving himself to Her in such fullness of wisdom and with such an experience of the divine mysteries, that, plunged into the depth of God, She intuited overwhelmingly what the Being is himself in himself.”
What a Saturday of such glorious triumph! in which the soul of God’s Only Begotten Son, who at the same time is the Son of Man, opens by the fruit of His Redemption the sumptuous Gates of Eternity, closed since the earthly Paradise by the sin in rebellion of our First Parents; and the old floodgates are raised before the impetuous passing of irresistible power of the soul of God’s immolated Only Begotten Son, in triumph of glory.
The soul that is not understood cannot be consoled. Your soul, O my Christ, a mystery and a wonder of divine love, because it is the soul of the Word, has an incomprehensible capacity for us as regards love and pain, which on earth has never been embraced nor will it ever be. And since the soul is consoled insofar as it is understood, that part of the soul of Christ that remains not understood receives no comfort either; and, since His capacity exceeds almost infinitely ours, that mysterious, profound and transcendent part, to which we will never be able to reach out, remains comfortless, and that is why: “I looked for comforters, but I found none.”
Mother Trinidad is like the beating echo of those words of Jesus: “I give You praise, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, for although You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned You have revealed them to the childlike”. It is as if the Lord, through her, would want to tell today to the priest, to the consecrated souls, to the lost worker in the field, to the charwoman, to the young person who takes his first steps in life or to the man stressed by the hustle of the large cities: Look, all my infinite love is for you. I have died on a cross to make you God by participation; and, in my Church, I have left un- fathomable treasures to fill you with the happiness which you search for and have not yet found. In your hands I place the depth, the width and length of the whole mystery of my life.
«It is the Church that, through baptism, fills the capacity that God instilled in you to be His son. Baptism is the door introducing you into the bosom of your Father God and making of you a partaker of the Divine Family, through the anointing of the divinity, which, on falling upon you, makes you share a mystical priesthood, received from the High and Eternal Priest; a priesthood that through your divine filiation, you have to live to the utmost perfection.»
« The Word Incarnate, during His mortal life, was the suffering Christ who lived of Eternity; and now He is the glorious and eternal Christ who contains also in His soul the tragedy of all the ages. And, for this reason, He is the Great Christ, in the fullness of His Priesthood, who encloses within Himself Heaven and earth, Eternity and time, Divinity and humanity; He being Himself in Himself the Glorified One and the Glorifier, the Adored One and the Adoration, the Atonement and the One Atoned for. »
«Mary’s Advent...! Mother...! You had the Word of Life in your bosom for You, for You to love Him and for Him to love You. You lived happily in that intimacy and communication with the infinite Word in your innermost being. But, participating in the divine will, oblivious of yourself, You burned in terrible longings for that Word, who had “jumped” from the Father’s bosom to your bosom, to “jump” from your bosom to men in order to give Him to us as a Host that, offered by You to the Father, might be our salvation and sanctification.»
«I now understand, Love, why in heaven we will all love each other so much. Because I will see there that everybody has his essential joy in seeing You so blissful; and, as all are in the highest degree of love which consists in rejoicing in seeing You so happy, my soul will also be a thanksgiving to all the souls because they love You like this»
« There is no fear that the Church make a mistake! God speaks through Her…
There is no fear that the Church sink! God sustains Her over the waters of the universal deluge…
There is no fear, because God is the strength and the stronghold where She rests…! »
